Ground to structural top: 509 m (1,671 ft), a recor formerly

held by the Petronas Twin Towers at  452 m (1,483 ft)

Ground to roof: 449 m(1,474 ft). Formerly held by the

 Sears Tower 442 m (1,451 ft)

Ground to highest occupied floor: 439 m (1,441 ft).

Fastest Ascending Elevator speed: 16.83 m/s (37.5 miles/hour.)

Construction of the National Palace Museum's Main Exhibition

Building began in March of 1964 and was completed in August

of 1965. With over 654,500 artifacts in its collection, the

27,438-square-foot  (15,118.2-square-meter) gallery area of the

 Main Exhibition Building.

Yu.Shan Yushan National Park is located in the Central Mountain Range of Taiwan. Centering around Jade Mountain Main Peak, the park covers a vast area of over 105,000 hectares spread out  over the four counties of Nantou, Chiayi, Kaohsiung and Hualien. It is a typical subtropical mountainous national park. The elevation of Yushan National Park ranges between 300 to 3952 meters.
